ABOUT We Accounting & Business Services

​WE could tell you that we’re a chartered accounting firm that specialises in small and medium businesses. We could talk about compliance packages and tax returns and ledgers.

But when founders Wyndi and Eli came up with the idea to start an accounting firm, they didn’t have safe, traditional accounting in mind.

That’s why we want to talk about WE’s mission to grow indigenous business in New Zealand and beyond. We’re here to share our passion for technology and champion our partners who are busy changing the world.
That’s why we focus on educating, supporting and growing business owners; because positive change comes from strong leadership.

We’re not award-winning accountants because we know how to navigate a profit and loss, but because we care about helping real people and we’re not afraid to step out of traditional accounting practices to do it.

ELI TAGI Co-Founder WE Accounting & Business Services

Eli is a qualified Chartered Accountant, CPA and member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He’s the Executive Director of WE Accounting and has over 10 years’ experience in the government sector and in public practice. He has further experience in Sales and Marketing and worked as a senior auditor at RSM Prince, and auditor for the Inland Revenue Department.He’s been nominated for the Pacific Enterprise award for the 2019 Sunpix Pacific Peoples Awards and represents pacific business owners on various panels. He’s passionate about providing opportunities to the Pacific Island community and empowering youth and often visits schools to advocate for accounting and business as another career path. Eli is the father of 5 sons, and loves all NZ sports, supporting both the Auckland Blues and NZ Warriors, and spending his free time coaching kids’ rugby. He enjoys travelling and the occasional round of golf.

As co-founder, Wyndi drives the overall vision and is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of WE.

She has a history of dedication and excellence in sport, representing NZ in cycling, excelling regionally in Women’s Cricket and Netball; and holding a black belt in karate. It’s through sport that she learned the fundamentals of working hard to succeed. She’s well-known and respected in her community. She’s been appointed to numerous boards and community committees, including CEO and Chair of ‘Be The Connection’, St Peter’s College Board of Trustees and Sport Waitakere Board of Trustees.

Amongst her other community projects, Wyndi has headed initiatives to provide assistance to children in hospital, provided uniforms for school teams and Christmas gifts for kids in need. She’s recognised as a champion of diverse women and has acted as a panelist and guest speaker to discuss the roles of women and Maori in contemporary business. She specialises in providing coaching and advisory services to emerging business owners.

​Wyndi is a Mum to 5 boys and spends as much time as she can, fishing and hanging out with her family. She traces her roots back to Ati-Hau-Nui-A-Paparangi in the Whanganui region.
